How I almost die drowned 3 times | Storytime

Hello friends, sorry I haven't been very active for a while. I've just moved and currently I don't have Internet πŸ˜•, but instead of talking about it I prefer to come and tell you about these anecdotes that I found most interesting to bring you today. I had a near death experience on several occasions, and although in the head of a very young girl this might sound a bit exaggerated since perception at that age is altered, but, I swear I really felt the true terror in those moments πŸ˜‚

To emphasize a big
detail, something curious is that the 3 occasions were when I was about to drown! Now I will give you brief explanations of each of those moments:

Experience #1: Honestly I'm talking about a moment I don't even remember and no matter how hard I try I won't remember either πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. It turns out that curiously when I was still in my mommy's tummy, I had a delay (well, that explains a lot of things XD), no seriously, it is expected that in the last stage of gestation the baby, being developed, will come out naturally in 9 months. But me, since I am a very special being, right 😌, well... I was born at 10 months. This is also due to the fact that my mother did not feel any symptoms that would warn her that I wanted to get out of there (probably that's the reason why I was born so lazy HAHAHAHA)

They had to take me out by caesarean section, and according to the doctors I had swallowed a lot of amniotic fluid and I looked almost purple because of suffocation. Andddd well, that was my first approach with death... it was before I was born!

Experience #2: This one happened when I was on the beach. I had an inflatable jet ski that my mom bought at that time when she asked for almost everything from the Avon catalog Hahaha. Anyways, I was basically on top of this bike when suddenly a big wave came that ended up knocking me over and I turned and ended up under the bike, my mother was close but the wave apparently was dragging me for a little over 6 seconds (this is just an estimation because I don't really remember, but I felt it slowed down for sure) and I couldn't catch any breath when this happened, I swallowed some water and had a really tough time :(

Then my mother was able to get me out and I coughed a lot, we got out and I calmed down, it wasn't so traumatic but it was close. This was around the age of 9 probably.

Experience #3: Here I was really about to pass out AND MY MOM WASN'T AROUND 😭.

This event was in the pool. It was night and I asked my mom to stay in the pool for another while and they still let people into the pool at night, but there was hardly anyone, the few people were in the other corner so they couldn't see me when it happened. I don't even remember what my mother was doing by then, but she had briefly gone elsewhere. Now, in those days when I was extrovertedπŸ˜‚ I made friends very quickly when I went to those places, I remember having made one and we had played a while before outside the pool and we hit it off and the whole thing, I'm not really sure if she was with me in the pool a while before I went through it or not, but at the time she wasn't.

To give you some context this pool had some kind of holes inside it, I'm not sure why but they were deep, I'll make an allusive drawing:

It is not exactly well structured because it was bigger but it more or less looked like this and the holes were divided in this way. I fell into the hole that I point to in the drawing, this also happened because of my fault and innocent. I understood that they were deep, just I didn't know how deep they were, but I was playing on the edge of this hole, putting my little feet in the corners until one slipped inward and that's where my suffering begins.

I couldn't float or swim well, I felt trapped, I tried with all my might to return to the edge of this hole and nothing, I had my arm raised in case someone passed by they could pull me out, I swear on my soul that I felt that this was the end of me, I swallowed a lot of water and couldn't see up well. That little friend, who I could made that same day, spotted me and I could hear her shout: "I'M BRINGING MY DAD, WAIT", while I was waiting for her, I don't know if they were short seconds but it honestly felt like an eternity, and there I felt her dad's hand get me up fast.

My heart was going to jump out of fright and I started crying after coughing, after that my mom came running because she saw me sitting there on the floor with my friend and her worried father, they told her I drowned and she picked me up, hugged me and told me that she was not going to leave me alone again.

Curiously, despite these bad experiences I didn't grow up with any phobia towards water or something like that, they were just bad memories but honestly I don't like beaches or public pools that much in general. The beach because of a lot of sun and sand, and the pool because of the people (it also annoys me at the beach), if I had a private pool it would be fantastic XD, yes, but with no holes.

Have you ever had bad experiences with drowning or any other near death? If so, I would like to read them in the comments, your stories catch my attention!
