A portrait without reason

A veces tenemos esa necesidad de expresarnos en un dibujo pero sin encontrar el motivo, esto me paso con este retrato, realmente estaba algo perdida pero tenía muchísimas ganas de dibujar, es algo que disfruto hacer mientras veo mis series favoritas, me distrae bastante de los problemas del día a día, por eso hoy presento este retrato que aún no tiene título, quizás el título que le puse podría funcionar, de todas maneras el arte es libre ¿no? Para esta oportunidad quería hacer algo un poco sencillo sin tanto detalles, por eso cree una piel poco menos realista de lo usual, pero con grandes ojos verdes, realmente el dibujo fue desarrollándose a medida que iba pintando.

Sometimes we have that need to express ourselves in a drawing but without finding the reason, this happened to me with this portrait, I really was a bit lost but I really wanted to draw, it's something I enjoy doing while watching my favorite series, it distracts me a lot from the day-to-day problems, that's why today I present this portrait that still doesn't have a title, perhaps the title I gave it could work, in any case, art is free, right?
For this opportunity I wanted to do something a bit simple without so much detail, so I created a slightly less realistic skin than usual, but with big green eyes, the drawing really developed as I was painting.

Proceso/Process

Realicé un boceto simple sin muchos detalles, luego comencé a pintar usando tonos cálidos, no me gusta trabajar mucho con estos tonos tan saturados, pero a veces me gusta salir de mi zona de confort un poco, en nuevas capas comencé a detallar las facciones del rostro y creando una piel suave con el pincel difuso.

I made a simple sketch without many details, then I started painting using warm tones, I don't like to work a lot with these saturated tones, but sometimes I like to get out of my comfort zone a bit, in new layers I started to detail the features of the face and creating smooth skin with the soft brush.

Me gusta de vez en cuando aplicar maquillaje a mis dibujos, esta vez quise algo oscuro por eso utilice negro y marrón para crear una sombra difuminada e intensa, hace mucho tiempo descargue un pack de pinceles con textura vintage y tenia muchas ganas de utilizarlos pero nunca parecían encajar en otros dibujos, quise usar esta excusa para agregarlo a este dibujo creando esta especie de tatuajes en el cuello, para el cabello elegí un marrón oscuro saturado de base y realice reflejos con marrón claro y rojo para hacer algunas mechas de color, agregue un color oscuro en el centro de los labios y una especie de lagrimas rojizas cayendo de los ojos, finalmente aplique un ajuste de color agregando mas intensidad.

I like to apply makeup to my drawings from time to time, this time I wanted something dark so I used black and brown to create a soft and intense shadow, a long time ago I downloaded a pack of vintage textured brushes and I really wanted to use them but never they seemed to fit in other drawings, I wanted to use this excuse to add it to this drawing creating this kind of tattoos on the neck, for the hair I chose a saturated dark brown as a base and I made highlights with light brown and red to make some streaks of color, I added a dark color in the center of the lips and a kind of reddish tears falling from the eyes, finally apply a color adjustment adding more intensity.
