Photography - The Blackberries Are Coming Out!

in #hive-1198453 years ago

The temps climbed between 28-30°C today and although the forecast had been 33°C, I'm glad that it did not go up because it was very humid today. I had fun looking at the blackberry bush we have and it's now showing the first berries for the first time. This bush is just about ten months old but it is growing so vigorously.

There are new buds and so many have opened-up, so I think there will be abundance in its harvest soon.

The bees are now coming in our balcony and sipping the nectars not only the flowers of the blackberries but of the raspberries too. The bee's smelling organ must be so intense that they come up on our balcony and make rounds and rounds of happy sipping . As new buds are opening, I think we will have more and more bees to see in the coming days.

This lovely blackberry bloom is so beautiful in pink that it looks like a peony.... apologize for the blurry image, it was so windy today.

There are many wild blackberries growing along the roads. But these wild ones are loaded with thorns. Nowadays, there are cultivars that are thornless.

This variety is a lucky find and I really hope that there will be much berries to be harvested because I am planning to use them for the sweets I will be baking.*

I will try to plant it there.

Yep, you should... to know how sweet will your plants be. Thanks.

Wow! Black berries soon. Yeah, their bloom is very beautiful. I have not tasted blackberries yet. What fruit can you compare it that is available in the Philippines, the taste?

It is sweet and some are sour.. Parang duhat..

So cool when things are just starting to pop, and bloom!
I bet those blackberries will be so sweet when they finally ripen.

I just hope they will be sweet... As a variety without thorns, I think I will enjoy this every season. If I only have a garden like yours, maybe I´ll grow more of this variety. Crossing my fingers that the berries will be sweet! I will remember you when the harvest days come.... Thanks!

Congratulations, you'll soon have a lot to harvest. As most blackberies are sour, I mix them with other berries and banana for a fruit shake...yummy and healthy!

Well, I hope so...So far the blackberries sold here are sweet. I just hope mine is a sweet one.

I'm waiting for your harvest sooner I know berries bears a lot of fruits and is easy to grow.
Thanks for showing how you did it from your previous write-ups.

Hopefully there will be more blackberries in its first year. The raspberry bush is on its 2nd year. Thanks.
