Hello everyone! Today I am going to share my April bullet journal layout. Since it is the month of Easter, I did a theme with Easter colours. Basically, I used many colours in pastel shades.
I make all my layouts from scratch. So, first of all, I drew the basic outlines of my calendar layout for the month of April.
Then, I wrote the names of the weeks. I picked mutltiple pastel coloured plain washi tapes. These are the thin types but they work well. However, the black gel pen I used required plenty of time to dry off.
Since the ink took a long time to dry, I used the meantime to select the washi tapes for decoration. These are the 3 sets I chose and picked 6 washi tapes from them. I love these tapes because they have images printed on them and I can just cut them out and use them like regular stickers.
Tadaa!!! I decorated the layout with many stickers. It seems a little overdone but, I guess that makes my spread more cheerful and inspires me to look forward with a positive mindset. I pasted the names of the days as well.
Then, I added a notes section for some things I need to get done in this month including some items I plan on buying.
I actually forgot to write the main thing, which is the name of the month and the occasion. I just used my Milkliner highlighters to write them and added some colourful hearts ♥
I labeled the dates of the month and wrote the festivals and prayers in glitter pens. I was done at this point but I felt like something was missing as there was a lot of blank space on the left page.
Hence, I added a few more washi tape images. I found this long sentence of 'A good life' in one of the tapes and realized that's the one I need.
Finally, I filled some of the boxes with memories of the day and health symptoms. I had a lot of fun creating this layout because I used many colours, pictures and even a happy quote. Hopefully I can keep up and journal more regularly.
