HELLO HIVE
Welcome to my blog, fellow homesteaders and creative gurus. It's an honor to have you here today, so to take you through my latest activity at my new place, I'll love to walk you through all I had to do during the painting of my house, things like the amount it cost to purchase the paint, equipment used, and the process of the painting.
Ever since I rented this place, I've had no choice but to make do with managing the state of how it looks until I'm financially stable enough to afford all I needed to paint the house, so after making an estimation and being able to gather up the funds after some months, I set out to the market to purchase the following and also borrowed some from my friends.
- Paint Drum ₦9000
- 3Wallpapers 3500*3 = ₦10500
- Gum 3kg: ₦5100
- Filler: 500
- Total: ₦25100
After that I visit my friend @moremoney28 to borrow some if his paintings tools like:
- Roller
- Brush
- Scrapper and co.
- After that I set out work by mixing the filer powder and mixing with water to cover all the opening on the wall.
- After that, I mix the Paint and stated applying it to the way for the first layer.
- After that I apply on those same place again until it's tick and neat enough as the second layer of the painting.
After I finish painting all the corners of the house, including the kitchen, room, bathroom and parlor.
- I pick up the gum and mix it with some water, After which I run it in the wall in the part where I want to place the wallpaper.
Then I started applying the wallpapers gradually.
These are some of the view of the place initially before I painted it.
- Here are some of the present view now.
It was a pleasure painting this by myself and I'm happy I don't have to spend extra money just to get that done.
Thanks so much for checking out my blog post, have a wonderful day.
Noted: All photos are mine and are snapped with my friend smartphone during the painting.
