Today with @outlinez we pulled out the garlic we had planted at the beginning of February.

We had planted two beds and it was time to harvest.

We filled a garden cart.

Then I removed the "whiskers" on the heads of garlic and got down to knitting.

Until today, I had not braided garlic braids - I had tried but it didn't work. But today I went to my neighbor who showed me how she knits and learning the technique I applied it. I'm very glad it worked out for me.

I even applied another technique I saw from a video clip.

After I had woven them, my husband suggested that we hang them on a tree to dry. So do some of our neighbors.

Our pear looks quite interesting, with branches - decorated with garlic.
