Hello gardeners lovers, I will tell you about the park in front of my class. I teach science at SMP Negeri 3 Sunggal, I also have an additional assignment as homeroom teacher in 2023/3024, I was assigned to be homeroom teacher for class VII-1. One of the homeroom teacher's duties is to manage the garden in front of each class, all my teachers and principal say that the garden in front of my class is a beautiful garden, I will show you the mini garden that I manage.

So that clean air remains available around my class, in front of the class, I and one of my fellow teachers planted lots of Aglonema and hanging flowers. So that students feel comfortable when they are on the classroom terrace and they can read books in a comfortable and cool atmosphere

Even though this garden is very small and is in front of my class, if managed well it will produce a beautiful garden that is pleasing to the eye. At the top, there is a wooden board made across from one pole to another, pots containing one type of aglonema are arranged on top of this wood.

To make the mini garden more beautiful, there are also hanging pots containing shady hanging plants. We planted red hanging plants with shady leaves, thus adding to the freshness of our class.

The way I care for this plant is very easy, if there are dry leaves, I will cut them and put them in a pot, I do this to increase the fertility of the ornamental plants, I don't use manufactured fertilizer, just water and dry leaves.

If there are leaves or plants that are rotten due to fungus, I will immediately cut them off, so that the fungus does not infect other stems and leaves.

If there is a plant that is too lush and fertile in one pot, then I will move the plant to another pot, I will take a sapling that has just sprouted and replant it in an empty pot, in this way the ornamental plant in front of the class I will continue to grow. Several other teacher friends also often ask for ornamental plant saplings in front of my class, they will plant them in front of their class.

I always tell my students to take care of the ornamental plants in front of our class. For aglonema plants, they water them twice a day with a small amount of water, aglonema will quickly rot if there is too much water, the roots and stems of aglonema cannot stand a lot of water around them. , therefore watering should not be done with large water flows.

As for hanging flowers, I water them once a week, if I water them frequently then I am worried that the classroom will be flooded, the water will drip from the pot and cause the terrace to be wet and dirty, therefore the hanging plants are watered on weekends, namely on Saturdays with a large amount of water. only a little, the most important thing is that the roots are exposed to water and can absorb water well. To maintain the beauty of the hanging flower plants, I will regularly throw away the dry leaves hanging in the pot.
