Usually it is impossible for me to do two similar pieces one after the other. I am not the type who easily repeats what has already done. But there are always exceptions and here I am having made two necklaces of the same size, yarn and style, but not the same pattern :)
I think I got attracted by this unusual yarn that is a mix of linen and silk. Very interesting to touch and look at, but also very interesting (maybe a bit annoying as well if I want to be absolutely honest) to work with as it slips and does its own things, but what was mission impossible was taking decent photos. I mean the colors are so different and it is so shiny that the texture disappears. That would be a good case for a pro but the pro of the house, @fotostef, was away (lucky him! I mean editing was a torture, haha!).
I want you to know that I tried!
Shiny is the main characteristic of these necklaces and it gives them a more glamorous style. The photos really can't show their sweet colors and light feeling. Imagine that this is a light green! Aha!
And yeap, I made two, but only the day after, having already started the second one I realized that I didn't take photos of the first one. Ok, still learning how to be a blogger :))

And please notice the curve that I give to the yarn in every line. It is the most important trick when weaving, trust me ;)
While I am moving the pattern comes. Although I have so many ideas in my head and sketchbook, I almost never know what I am going to do. I just start weaving.
As I was coming to the end, I was wondering how the ending should be. I went for a not so minimal approach, but I like it.

The beautiful jasmine agreed to be my model as the sun was setting down.
While in my little studio, yarns are everywhere around, on the loom as well, patiently waiting for their time to come :)
