Well Hello There Gamers Of Hive
Let's get back into some great game plays over here with For Honor.
The story line is really unraveling properly now, when I started this campaign I started it off with the Knights I didn't have any choice though it's how the progression was set but at first I thought okay I'm starting off with the Knights and the Vikings are next and then the Samurai's and with that I thought that the Knights would be battling the Vikings and it would leap over from Vikings battling the Samurai.
But I never once thought that these storylines all led down to a path that connected all of them, and since we are still 8 years ago in the story line am wondering how this will all play out especially if we jump to present time in the game.
Curiosity awaits me.
With Ayu uniting what's left of the Samurai clans, well after she killed most of the Dayimo's leading those clans of-course... How else would you lay claim to power? You have to at-least show some powerful force. Either kill or be killed situations.
It wasn't hard for me to find Ayu since she left a trail of death behind her, no doubt these deserters had to be taken out. We shall not tolerate any weakness among our ranks!
The problem however didn't lay in finding Ayu as I said there is a clear path for me to follow. The concern was crossing this bloody Myre again. It seems that my days of fighting in the insect ridden jungles and swamps we call the Myre is not yet over.
It once use to be a treacherous and uncross-able terrain for our enemys over the seas, now it's merely a slow down and a fighting ground for them.
I managed to find Ayu relatively quickly, I didn't have much resistance crossing the swamps other than two or three brave warriors who are well on their way to meet the gods they serve!
I found Ayu along with another Dayimo held up in a small village located within the Myre. Where they where fighting for what ground they were able to keep. As always the barbaric Vikings are persistent as always never stopping to rest even for water.
Well it was clear that we had to eliminate all of the Viking chieftans and render their troops utterly useless without the commands needed, along with that the courage these beastly chieftans gave them!
If not for those fire arrows I was stacking up I probably would not have made it through the battle on the bridges. I had some real big opponents to take down, even though I'm slick and sly and light on my feet, if one of those brutes get a hold of me I wont be going anywhere fast except for the grave.
So fighting with honor?
No we fight for survival, honor can be found at tourneys.
Perseverance is what wins battles and of course numbers, since Ayu managed to unite the clans we had both of those advantages on our side. The battle was over faster than it had started. While more and more clan members pledged their allegiance to Ayu it seems that I found her being a commander and not just a mere friend anymore!
It seems that we might have a brighter future ahead!
Ayu has definitely turned into a battle commander with in the span of two days. I suppose some warriors have what it takes to rise above and beyond in hard times!
What got me the most was that she gave orders without hesitation as if a plan was already in motion before it even happened a sure and well minded commander will lead us to the glorious victory we so desperately seek!
Her final orders before setting of to recapture the palace was that we had to secure the docks.
Secure the docks? As if it was going to be achieved easily with the bulk of the Viking forces gathered around the harbor it was bound to be one deadly fight till the end.
However, orders are orders and they have to be carried out at all costs.
The docks seemed to be well protected with some of their best warriors guarding while they loaded the loot and plunder from our great city.
Well a challenge is always preferred, you wont grow stronger by fighting weaklings now will you!
Let's how these Vikings fight while being bathed in fire!
Unfortunately while focusing too much on one point of the docks the Vikings managed to escape with most of the loot, I however ordered the archers to get ready to hit them with the wrath and fury that we were able to unleash.
But Ayu delayed the order because we had more pressing matters to attend to and she was not wrong at all! We had a city to rebuild a defenses to strengthen before we can go about the offensive.
Along with that we had to remove the pretender to the Emperor's throne.
Appolion.
I offered the Emperors throne to twenty Dayimo.
Five proved willing to say they would take it, to an enemy they knew was untrustworthy.
Five Liars.
Five Cowards.
I have been hoping for more.
