ANKARA PRINT FLOCK DRESS

in #hive-1279113 years ago

Hello Hive ,

It’s a beautiful morning, I hope we have a great day full of opportunities

While making this dress, I realized that regardless of how much one loves what he/she does, the perfect tools to work will make you enjoy what you love doing

I’m looking forward to telling you about my favorite sewing tools

Ankara print is a very common fabric here in the part of the continent I reside. Almost everyone wear Ankara fabric.

It is known for it versatility and variant patterns.

A flock dress is an adorable dress for every female child.

I made this flock dress for one of the kids i admire a lot.
She is such a beautiful and bright child with fine imagination and her ideas are clever.

The materials I used in making this dress;

Two yards of Ankara fabric
A yard of tissue net lace
Stoned zipper
Appliqué flowers
Lining and interfacing

Just as much as *I love what I do * kids wears take a bit too much of my time in a way I don’t like😅😅

I hope someone else agree that truly it takes time here😩, it can’t be only me😂

Well, it is what it is and I gat to do what I gat to do...

Thanks for your time and I’ll appreciate your comments.

Hello, I love that very beautiful suit.

Hi
I’m glad you love it , thank you🥰

ooh that is so nice, the fabrics you choose, love it!! well I imagine it must take more time to make since it is smaller no? I mean you have to be more delicate... but I am sure it will look really cool when it is worn:)

Yeah! The size is the reason it takes more time

Thanks so much for your nice comment

You are very welcome:)

Welcome to the NeedleWorkMonday Community @taimah! 😃

This dress, the pattern, materials and bright colors are very beautiful. I love the yellow lace part you included. It seems the little girl you described will love this dress.

I’m looking forward to seeing more of your work ~

Good morning Taimah, I can even identify the ankara fabric, although it is not seen at all in Argentina. Thank you for sharing this dress, it is very beautiful and I am sure it will take a lot of time to make ❣️.

Thank you to join the NeedleWorkMonday Community ❣️!

Every week needleworkers from around the globe get together to share our work, patterns, tips, ideas and shortcuts as we support one another. Our goal is to inspire the Hive blockchain to give crafting a try.

On Monday’s we use the #needleworkmonday tag and on all other days we use the #needlework tag without the word Monday attached. We share and post our work directly from the Community page.

We encourage our members to share about their needlework life with us. We love hearing stories and what types of things inspired your projects. We challenge you to put some feeling and emotion into your publications and help us get to know the needler behind the fabric.

Feel free to share photos of your work but it’s optional if you choose to share the steps with us (we do require you share the step process in at least one of your posts for validation purposes). If you just want to needle and share about that time we’d love to hear about it.

For more information about what we do and for our posting guidelines please visit our FAQs.

Thank you ~

Dearest @lauramica thanks for your time, tips and your wonderful compliment

I’ll be sure to share the step process in some of my posts for validation
