There is no difference between mental illness and other diseases of the body like diabetes, blood pressure, fever, cold and cough. In general, many people do not consider problems like depression and anxiety as a disease. But they are also a type, which can be cured through proper treatment. Yoga is part of that medical system. But I don't do yoga only if I have a mental illness. Instead, do regular yoga to improve mental health and keep the mind well. So let's take a look at the positive effects of regular yoga on mental health.
Keeps the mood good: Regular yoga exercises bring a freshness to the body and mind. The effect is reflected in each of your uses, which makes it easier for you to have a good mood.
Reduces Stress and Depression: There is no doubt that regular yoga exercises help to control stress and fatigue, and with it, problems like depression and anxiety. So do regular yoga to reduce anxiety and depression and the stress created by work. Yoga is a great way to get rid of mental anguish or depression.
Reduces tension and increases self-control:
Proper control of breathing reduces agitation and anxiety, which in turn improves mood. This greatly reduces the risk of mental illnesses such as anxiety and depression. On the other hand, self-control is created within oneself.
Improves concentration and memory:
Do not mind studying or any work? Start doing yoga. After a few weeks of yoga you will be able to realize the difference on your own. Regular yoga practice increases concentration, which in turn increases memory and the ability to remember.
A positive outlook on life:
Negative thoughts of the mind are removed by doing yoga. Doing yoga every day also awakens the nerves and easily produces energy hormones. This hormone eliminates negative attitudes, depression and creates a positive outlook on your life.
