Jeans bag with crochet accent
Materials
Jeans cut 2 pcs
Size
6x11 inches
6x7 inches
Mercerized yarns different colors
2 ply
Tapemeasure
Hook 2.5mm
Scissors
Procedure:
Cut my denims in 2 pieces one measured 6 by 11 inches this would be rhe back part and the other measured by 6 by 7 inches front part.
Sew both sides in 1mm. The cover should measure 3 inches when folded.
Lets crochet the granny square accent.
Chain 4
Make a circle
Chain 2 , 2hdc , 3chains , 3hdc, 3 chains, 3hdc, 3chains slipstitch on the 1st hdc
2 chain , 2hdc, 1 sc, 3hdc, 3chain, 3hdc, 1sc, 3hdc, 3chain , 3hdc, 1 sc 3hdc, 3chain, 3hdc slip stirch in the 1st hdc. Cut the yarn and secure or hide the excess yarn.
Make 6 of these granny squares.
Sew the crcoet accent on the cover part of the denim bag.
You can put magnetic snap on cover or buttons if you donr have one.
You can also crochet the sling of the bag or you can sew denim as well.
Voila! So easy and fun to do!
