Looking for an easy beef recipe? This might be the perfect one. It doesn't take much time, and you can easily pair it with rice or noodles, even spaghetti!

I love beef Manchurian, but unfortunately, my family members do not have the same taste buds. That doesn't stop me from trying it now and then.

Let me share with you my easy recipe. This may not be the authentic one but this is the quickest and it's delicious.

Ingredients:

  • 500g beef, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 green chilies (you can add bell paper or capsicum as well)
  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tbsp chili sauce (optional)
  • 1 tbsp cornflour, mixed with ¼ cup water
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

You can use vinegar in the sauce and more soya sauce if that goes well with your liking. But I skipped them. Also, I have added a bit of sugar to balance the taste but that's not mandatory.

Feel free to use the ingredients as per your liking.

Step-by-step process:

The first thing is to marinate the beef. Mix the beef with soy sauce, ginger-garlic paste, an egg, salt, and pepper. Put the cornflour at last and mix them again. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes so the spices go inside the beef properly.

Now fry the beef in a heated pan until golden and crispy. Set aside the fried beef.

You can use the same pan and oil for the sauce or a separate pan.

Saute the onions until soft. I wish I could add some capsicum, which brings a nice flavor and the dish also looks good because of the colorful ingredients.

Then add the fried beef to the onion.

I have added the tomato sauce and chili sauce after adding the beef, you can make the sauce earlier.

Add the tomato ketchup or sauce, chili sauce, and vinegar (if you like). Stir them well until thicken and add salt and pepper to taste.

Add the cornflour mixture at the very last minute and cook for a minute after. The dish will be thick and combined.

I have added some green and red chili to bring a vibrant look. You can garnish the dish with raw onion slices, coriander, and sesame seeds.

Serve with rice or noodles or anything you like.

Without the marination, this dish only takes 15-20 minutes to cook. You can marinate and put the beef in the freezer at night or many a large marinated portion at once and cook in small portions later.

It's been a long time since I last had beef dish, we can't just buy it coz for us its too expensive. Seeing how good this recipe is, I feel like buying a gram of it. But wait, you can just give some of that to me. Please throw some of that here, I'll catch it 🤤🤤🤤

I wish we could do that. LoL
Beef is getting expensive here to and the boneless one became too costly.
When you buy it, try to make your favorite dish. It will be a grand meal.
Have a good day.

How much per kilo gram?

Beef is around $8 per kg. And boneless is $10-$12. Thanks.

Looks really good! You got a beautiful plate there. 😊

Thanks for your compliment.
This is my favorite plate 😁

Uuuh it's the first time I see beef cook this way, Manchurian beef looks super, I think it's good accompanied by bread too.

This is a very popular Chinese dish and common here in South Asia.
I never have it with bread but I think it would be good. You can try it.
