Creative drawing by Lux Vega from Splinterlands | Splinterlands Art Contest Week 275!
Greetings my beautiful people, I hope you are having a wonderful week. I started drawing a few years ago and it's something I'm very passionate about, but I don't paint with crayons very often since I prefer to use watercolors because it's easier for me to mix the colors. However, today for my participation in Splinterlands Art Contest Week 275 I decided to make a drawing of Lux Vega, a Splinterlands card, using wood colors, paints, cardboard and colored led lights, I hope you like the final result.💜
Reference card LUX VEGA, this card is a neutral summoner which means that it is not of any specific element thus making it a very powerful summoner, it has a cost of 5 mana and empowers us with +1 shield, +1 life and +1 speed. It is a very sought after card thanks to its great versatility in the different combats since it can be mixed with another element, another special thing that this card has is that it is a legendary card coveted by many, undoubtedly an excellent choice for battles.
Carta de referencia LUX VEGA, esta carta es un invocador neutral lo que quiere decir que no es de ningún elemento en específico convirtiéndola así en un invocador muy poderoso, tiene un coste de 5 de maná y nos potencia con +1 escudo, +1 vida y +1 velocidad. Es una carta muy buscada gracias a su gran versatilidad en los distintos combates ya que puede ser mezclado con otro elemento, otra cosa especial que tiene esta carta es que es una carta legendaria codiciada por muchos, sin duda alguna una excelente elección para las batallas.
First I made the sketch on a white sheet with an H pencil, I usually make the drawings with hard lead pencils and then paint them, as I don't like to highlight them so much with pencil.
Primero hice el boceto en una hoja blanca con un lápiz H, normalmente hago los dibujos con lápices de mina dura y luego los pinto, ya que no me gusta remarcarlos tanto con lápiz.
Then I started painting. First I started painting the hat, then I continued with the clothes. I always leave the fur part for the end. The technique I use for coloring is to paint the edges in a strong tone and lighten it as I move to the center. Then I use a darker tone to highlight the edges.
Luego empecé a pintar. Primero empecé pintando el sombrero, luego proseguí con la ropa. Siempre dejo la parte de la piel para el final. La técnica que uso para colorear es pintar los bordes de tono fuerte e irlo aclarando a medida que avanzo al centro. Luego uso un tono más oscuro para remarcar los bordes.
I'm not so good at making the shadows but I tried hard to make them look good. Then I outlined the whole drawing with a thin black marker, and I was going to paint the background but I felt it was missing some different detail, so I decided to cut it out.
No soy tan buena haciendo las sombras pero me esforcé para lograr que quedaran de buena manera. Luego remarqué todo el dibujo con marcador delgado negro, e iba a pintar el fondo pero sentía que le faltaba algún detalle diferente, así que decidí recortarlo
I flipped it over and glued pieces of anime, and between these pieces I placed some lights that I secured with tape.
For the background I used a frosted black cardboard, and to make it lighter I mixed blue paint with water and applied it on top. Then I painted black trees and glued the drawing on top of the cardboard. On the top I placed the name "Lux Vega" with a white frame and surrounded the cardboard with the lights.
Lo voltee y pegué pedazos de anime, y entre estos pedazos coloqué unas luces que asegure con cinta adhesiva.
Para el fondo utilicé una cartulina negra escarchada, para que quedara más clara ligue pintura azul con agua y se lo pasé por encima. Luego pinté árboles negros y pegue el dibujo encima de la cartulina. En la parte de arriba coloque el nombre "Lux Vega" con montura blanca y rodee la cartulina con la luces.
Finally I made a very scary scenery to match the vibes that Lux Vega transmits and pasted it under the drawing.
Por último hice un escenario muy tenebroso para que coincidiera con las vibras que transmite Lux Vega y lo pegué debajo del dibujo.
I really liked the result, I tried to keep the colors as close as possible to the colors on the card and I thought the lights gave it a nice creative touch. It was a challenge for me to make this drawing but I really enjoyed doing it and I felt very happy since it has been a while since I drew so much, I was very happy with the result, I hope you liked it and have a great weekend, see you next week.💜💜
El resultado me gustó mucho, intenté que los colores quedaran lo más parecidos a los de la carta y me pareció que las luces le daban un toque creativo y bonito. Fue un reto para mí hacer este dibujo pero verdaderamente disfruté mucho haciéndolo y me sentí muy feliz ya que hace un buen tiempo no dibujaba tanto, quedé muy conforme con el resultado, espero les haya gustado y tengan un excelente fin de semana, hasta la próxima semana.💜💜
