Hello to everyone in this community. How you all are doing. I hope you are doing good and enjoying mental peace. Someday before I started a series in which I learnt many new stitches and shared with you guyz. There were almost 3 - 4 stitches and after that u stopped. I forgot that u have to learn new things. So today It came to my mind when I was trying to search for new inspiration. So I decided that I will make a new stitch to continue that series of mine. Here is the stitch I learnt.

This is called herringbone stitch and you can see how pretty it is. When you start learning crochet for the very first time you feel like everything is so difficult. How I am gonna make these things which people can make easily and also questioning yourself that will I ever be able to make such difficult stitches. But when you start from the scratch like doing foundation chains, then single crochet then double crochet and after that you feel trained enough to crochet large project Luke cardigans, blankets, frocks.
I made this stitch it looks difficult but easy to make. I wouldn't say very easy but easy. You first have to make foundation chains however much you want. After that make a sc in the second chain from the hook. After that took one strand of sc and next st to make another stitch.

Then you have 3 loops on hook take one stand from the three of them and next st to make another stitch. This pattern follows till the end if row.
After that row you have to do same thing but at the back side from yourself. So this is basically the pattern to make herringbone stitch.
When I completed the stitch I realized how pretty it is. Like if I make a cardigan using this stitch or a beanie that will look really beautiful. At the end of learning a new stitch I reslize that every stitch can be use for different things. Like every learnt the front loop stitch. That was really textured. If you make a rug out of that it would be really cool. Then I learnt granny squares that is perfect if you want to make a sweater or a pouch.

Similarly at the end of this stitch I realized it would be a perfect fit for a sweater.Learning new Crochet techniques are really therapeutic. It's like you are challenging yourself. You really put effort so that the end product look phenomenal. And one more thing this whole pattern was on the front side.you can clearly tell which side is right side and which is not right.
Here are some final pictures.

Indeed, we believe learning new crochet techniques is therapeutic. And the crazy thing about learning these things from scratch is that after a while when you look at a certain design, you know exactly how it was done without a struggle.

When you get to that stage of your crocheting journey, you know deep down you've come a long way.

This herringbone stitch is really beautiful and we would love to see you make a sweater out of it one day. Great job.

I like this technique, thanks for sharing.

This is beautiful, it looks like knitting.
It will definitely look nice for a cardigan or a beanie
