(Video edited in capcut)Hello everyone. I hope you all are doing good and enjoying good mental health. I am posting after few days even I could not find time to post on Monday and I skipped it. I have already mentioned many times before that my vacations are over and I have to go back to my hostel so I moved to my hostel again. And I have to do alot of stuff . I did shopping and sorted many things. I didn't caught up to the schedule yet because it's been a long in home and now suddenly back to university feels a lot of burden .
I have three days off so I thought I should make something to post in needlework. And I crochet a new stitch called alpine stitch.
Few days back i started series of learning new stitches so it is the third post of that series. Although it's a difficult stitch but I managed to do it at once except for mistakes in few parts.
Let me tell you the process first. First of all I made 24 chains and sc and then dc in all sts. Then in third round the new process started.
After doing dc I made front post st . This is new stitch for me and a new name. It is made by doing a dc in the dc st as a whole. Mean you have to place your crochet hook at the back of dc st and move it to front and then complete the dc. After doing that I did a simple dc. So this was the pattern a front post dc followed by a dc.
After doing that I made a row of sc . And then I repeated the same process of altering fpdc with a dc till I got the length I wanted for the stitch to be prominent and be visible.And at the end I borderline it using a different colored yarn.
As you can see the border on one side is not straight and neat I don't know why this happened but this was my first time I will definitely do better next time.Take a look at final results.
