SLAY THE DRAGON (Drawing) BY @OVEY10
I love to see the wonder works of art because it shows the level of patience of an individual to be able to achieve a set drawing. One thing I've come to realize with drawing is that patience is paramount when it comes to doing the job specially technical drawings that requires application of different types of shading and others.
I will not rate myself in the world of arts but I will allow you all my viewers to have a say about this piece of art I present to you with so much love.
I wasn't part of the event that initiated the "Slay The Dragon" policy, but my little research told me a little about it.
The dragons would have taken the territories of the lion but since the lion is the king of the jungle, he fought his way out and conquered the menace that wanted to catch up with the territory. I heard also learnt that people that were able to join the lion king to slay the dragon will be rewarded with NFTs since the lion made a call and they responded positively to the call of the Lion. The king of the jungle represents Khal the Lion King among the Prides of Leofinance community on Hive. He made a call for lions to stake more of the Leo tokens and most lions obeyed the call to save their territory. I am glad I am one among the growing cubs in territory through the help of the adoption campaign by Zealy to make known the new user interface of threads. The adoption campaign is still ongoing with $10k and 200Hp delegation as price pool. You can dive in through This Link and get started.
Below are my step by step detailed representation of how I was able to achieve this drawing.
STEP ONE
I started drawing the Lion, starting from the head down to the body, I made sure the mouth gives out the clear picture of a roaring lion
STEP TWO
In this step, I was able to achieve the hands of the lion And also part of the mane.
STEP THREE
I had a rough sketch of the dragons head and also shaded part of the leg area of the Lion
STEP FOUR
Had a rough sketch of the dragons feather and also the abdominal region
STEP FIVE
In this step, I began to shade the dragon and also some parts of the lion
STEP SIX
This is the second to the last step where I almost concluded my shading and sketching
