Hello, first of all, I must say that I loved both options, so I will try to make a mixture of both ☺️
On planet earth, global warming is destroying agriculture worldwide and governments have created small artificially heated fields. Where due to space issues, only a small group of crops can be planted, my job is to convince everyone that coffee must be one of them and find a way for coffee crops to thrive in such precarious conditions.
Let the game begin.. 😎
It all starts because of carbon emotions, which have skyrocketed globally since the Tesla Motors Company crashed on the stock market. This is due to the fact that accidental deaths due to the famous "automatic pilot" had increased considerably.
Without his important research on electric transportation and his recent work with renewable energy, the world had lost hope and everyone turned to fossil fuel.
The war began for the precious oil and this did nothing but damage the ecosystem even more..
Today, Venezuela is the only country in the world that is committed to saving humanity, logically following a relentless socialist model. (I had to put comedy on it, what did you expect?)
While the rest of the countries were little by little contaminating their ecosystem more and more, thus causing the development of diseases due to lack of oxygen, Venezuela continued to investigate hard on dome-shaped structures, yes, we wanted to isolate ourselves from the rest of the planet.
For my part, I am in charge of the botanists and agricultural team, which carries out the difficult task of studying, qualifying and quantifying the benefits of each consumable plant on the planet, and then explaining to the presidential council in great detail which plants to choose. and why to do it.
I am currently researching the coffee plant, this ancestral grain that became famous in 2012, when we humans ate it by extracting the grain from squirrel droppings, to later process it and make the quintessential energy drink.
And that is where I am trying to base my theories, coffee is an energizing drink, which could help the inhabitants of the dome to stay awake during the first months of the transition. Where we will go from light to darkness, engineers and scientists believe that the dome will not be completely finished by the time global warming is deadly, so it is estimated that we will spend at least the first 3 months of our eternal stay in the dome, no artificial lights. And as a cloud of dust will cover the outside of it, it is believed that not even the sun will be able to give us light.
This will cause an imbalance in the biological clock of each individual, thus causing everyone to gradually lose track of time, sleeping more or less hours than necessary.
What would end up causing those in charge of the completion of the dome to make catastrophic mistakes in the process of building it, being able to kill all humanity, since we will be the only survivors of the disaster.
I have already finished most of the studies and I am ready to inform the executive of my decision, although I still have a problem to solve.
It turns out that the artificial ecosystem does not have the necessary nutrients to cover the needs of coffee. The water must be filtered before entering the dome, to prevent contamination from entering it, but in this process many minerals are removed from the water, leaving it almost unusable for growing tropical plants.
For this reason, I have decided to create a second dome, smaller and without so many security restrictions, where the water can be used without the need to be filtered and thus cultivate the precious coffee, which will help the construction of the main dome and save the race. human.
I will achieve it? See it in the next episode.
