DIY necklace

Not much of a DIY actually as the sea offered me this stone ready with its hole:

It's rare to find a piece like this and I spotted it while walking at the beach. This chain waiting in my drawer told me what to do with it.

The only modifications I did was to make one side more flat using a filler in order to be more user friendly as I wear it:

Interesting stone. Very unusual. Was it hard to file one side flat? I would think it might be.

It was easier than I expected to be honest. So unusual indeed. Just thinking of how much drifting in the bottom of the sea this might have been through before ending in my hands feels so special.
