The rainy season always makes us hungry, how not, staying at home makes me bored, let alone having to do activities outside the house, in a rainy atmosphere like this. Trying new recipes at home is the most challenging thing for me, starting with hunger and the availability of ingredients only corn and carrots, came the idea of making something delicious hunger pangs.
The manufacturing process is very easy, will make you interested in preparing this menu using only the ingredients available in the refrigerator, since last week's shopping at the market, indeed the market and house are located, not far from my house, but shopping is an interesting thing but the busy schedule of activities makes me always forget it. In addition to preparing with cheap ingredients, this menu will give you very satisfying results. I will start inviting you to cook virtually with me, you will be very easy to do at home, let's start to do step by step in making this delicious menu.
CRON NUGGET
Ingredients Used
- 2 corns
- 1 carrot
- 7 tablespoons gram flour
- 3 cloves of red onion
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 5 pieces of cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon mushroom broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
Making Process
STEP 1: First I prepare the corn and carrots, wash the two ingredients, then grate the carrots and chop the corn. Next, also chop the onion and garlic to make it easier in the mashing process.
STEP 2: Then blend the onion and garlic, add the grated corn and carrots, add enough water, then blend until smooth, or if you don't like it too smooth, you can just blend it coarsely.
STEP 3: Then after puree, pour in another place, then make the nuget dough by adding salt, mushroom broth and then stir evenly until the seasoning dissolves.
STEP 4: The next step, I started to add the flour, and then stirred gently until the flour came together perfectly.
STEP 5: Then prepare a baking sheet, give a little bit of cooking oil on the pan, then add the dough into the pan until it runs out.
STEP 6: Next, steam the dough, approximately up to 30 minutes, until the texture hardens making it easier for us to remove it from the mold.
STEP 7: Then wait until the nuggets are cold, then after they are cold, remove them from the mold, then cut them lengthwise or according to your taste.
STEP 8: Next I will make the outer shell, by preparing 3 tablespoons of flour, then mix it with salt and then add enough water, and stir gently.
STEP 9: Then coat the nugget pieces with the wet flour, and then roll them in the breadcrumbs until evenly distributed throughout the nugget pieces.
STEP 10: Next, fry the nuggets in hot oil, fry them until the nuggets are perfectly cooked so that they produce a beautiful texture.
Now here's a delicious corn nuggets ready to serve, with a soft texture on the inside and crunchy on the inside, the taste of corn and carrots stands out, the combination of the two makes me unable to stop eating this delicious snack. The sweet corn taste is also still very prominent in this dish, you can definitely see the yellow color of the corn texture which is very attractive without the slightest coloring, the color of this snack is still bright yellow.
I serve this snack hot after frying, because it will produce a different taste sensation especially with the addition of an extra spicy chili sauce, which will definitely combine the savory, sweet and salty flavors in these nuggets.
