Greetings to all needle artists and supporters!
Welcome to NeedleWorkMonday Community’s
172nd Featured Posts!
This is a weekly curation showcasing the needlework of our very own HIVEians.
Every Monday we get together to share our love and passion for the needle arts, posting from the NeedleWorkMonday Community and using the #needleworkmonday tag. On all other days we use the #needlework tag. We enjoy each other’s creations, ideas, patterns, tips and shortcuts.

Here are our featured posts this week:
Learning new talents, Mexican style fabric doll. / Aprendiendo nuevos talentos, Muñeca de tela estilo mexicana.
It’s fun when we get the time to learn new techniques and add on to our skill level. @Gladymar1973 has been learning how to make these Mexican dolls out of her fabric scraps. You can see that with each one she’s made she has improved.
My First Patchwork Skirt
We love celebrating when a needleworker accomplishes something for their first time. This patchwork skirt made by @yoginiofoz turned out very nice. She has many other patchwork ideas that I am looking forward to seeing come to life!
How to felt a dinosaur
Such a cutie pie Dino! I love the techniques @uncorked-reality used such as using a fabric piece for the filling to save on wool. I also love the heart shaped polka dot that was added on to him. I thought the different color belly was a nice added touch as well.
#needleworkmonday | The Eyes Have It!
I thought this informative post was very enlightening and should be read by every needleworker. Sometimes if not most times we work our needles while looking at our cell phone and computer screens not realizing how much strain we put on our eyes. The helpful tips and techniques shared by @shanibeer have already benefited me and I can tell it’s helping.
Thank you for stopping by to view our featured posts for this week. Please stop by their posts and show them some love with a read, a comment and an upvote for sharing their handmade creations.
To see more needle arts, please check out the the NeedleWorkMonday Community and check back here with @needleworkmonday every Wednesday / Thursday for the weekly Curation posts!!
