¡Hola! Soy My Teenages. El día de hoy quiero mostrarles un pedido que hice de nuevos materiales para seguir creando los amigurumis que tanto me gustan y también quizás arriesgarme a hacer nuevas cosas.😊

Hi, I'm My Teenages. Today I want to show you an order I made for new materials to continue creating the amigurumis that I love so much and also maybe take a risk to make new things.😊

La verdad es que hasta ahora he estado haciendo los amigurumis con algunos hilos que mi mamá tenía y cuando hacía falta compraba pabilos de colores y no tenía problema con eso, hasta que luego de hacer a "Kuromi", como comenté, no me gustó el resultado, ya que el pabilo le daba un acabado rústico y mi disgusto por esta textura resaltó más cuando hice a "Keroppi", que hasta ahora es mi amigurumi favorito y creo que se debe bastante al color verde tan brillante y el acabado tan delicado que da el hilo acrílico.

The truth is that until now I have been making amigurumis with some yarns that my mom had and when I needed to buy colored wicks and I had no problem with that, until after making “Kuromi”, as I said, I did not like the result, because the wick gave a rustic finish and my dislike for this texture stood out more when I made “Keroppi”, which so far is my favorite amigurumi and I think it is quite due to the bright green color and the delicate finish that gives the acrylic yarn.

Con estas comparaciones en la mente, la verdad no me quedaban muchas ganas de seguir tejiendo con pabilo, al menos por ahora, y gracias a los post que he hecho acá en Hive y el dinero que estos han podido recaudar, decidí buscar opciones para comprar hilos. En mi país, Venezuela, no hay tantas opciones donde poder conseguir materiales, así que luego de buscar bastante, conseguí un sitio con variedad de colores y buenos precios, solo que no tenían hilos de 2 mm que es el que suelo utilizar, sino de 1 mm o 3 mm.

With these comparisons in mind, the truth is that I didn't really want to continue weaving with wick, at least for now, and thanks to the posts I've made here on Hive and the money they have been able to raise, I decided to look for options to buy yarns. In my country, Venezuela, there are not so many options where to get materials, so after searching a lot, I found a site with a variety of colors and good prices, but they didn't have 2 mm yarns, which is the one I usually use, but 1 mm or 3 mm.

Luego de pensarlo, me decidí por pedir los hilos de 1mm para probar, pero cuando me llevaron pude ver que eran muy delgados. Se me ocurrió que para solucionarlo podría utilizar al tejer doble hebra para que así fuese de 2 mm, aunque lo he estado probando para un proyecto que verán próximamente y puedo decir que no me disgusta el acabado de 1 mm.

After thinking about it, I decided to order the 1mm yarns to try, but when they were brought to me I could see that they were too thin. It occurred to me that to solve this I could use double strands to make it 2mm, although I have been testing it for a project you will see soon and I can say that I don't dislike the 1mm finish.

Pedi colores bastante básicos, que siempre son útiles, y también colores que me encantan y sé que voy a utilizar mucho. Tuve que sacrificar el naranja y el morado para pedir 2 tonos de azul y de rosado, pero no me arrepiento en lo absoluto jsjs.😅 Gracias por leerme y brindarme un poco de su tiempo. I ordered pretty basic colors, which are always useful, and also colors that I love and I know I will use a lot. I had to sacrifice the orange and purple to order 2 shades of blue and pink, but I don't regret it at all jsjs. Thanks for reading me and giving me some of your time. El hilo acrílico tiene sus beneficios, a mi me gusta mucho el de 2mm.
