in #hive-1279112 years ago

Hello Needleworkmonday

Happy Wednesday to everyone, how are you all doing, i hope you all are doing good. It has been a week and i have don't share my post here in this community and this was not my fault, it was because my wife, new daughter abd Hi was at the hospital and because of this i close my shop for those few days since the was no one to assist her in the hospital. But i thank God i am fully back to share and i am sharing with you guys this beautiful seat that i sew and its really beautiful.

Here is the new seat

Here is the seat before

If you look at the picture above, you will see that the old seat has expired and it has pill up the surface. And the owner have no other options than to change it.

Be bought the car from someone and the seat supposed to be done since but he has that patience to wait for me untill i am back. He is one of my strong customer and he trust me so much since i alway do a neat work for him.

The seat are only the two front and others are still neat. So i change the cover of the two front.

Since the old leather was pilling, the own choose to go to market and get new leather by is self and all others material and i was only doing the sewing and also cover it.

He did this because he complained the price is high so let him only pay me for hand work and we agree on a price and at the end when he calculate all the expensive the amount of money spent was more than what i ask him to pay me lol 😂

I started this work on Monday and finish it on Tuesday evening so i am sharing it today being Wednesday so it took me two days to complete the work.

I love to share some steps i follow to achieve my work for others to learn from me and also proof that this work is original from me and chat de duplicate anyway.

*Let get the work done"

To begin any car seat sewing, you first need to loose the seat from the car and took it to where you want to stay and work the seat. So here i loose the seat to the shop where i can get the work done.

After that, i then loose the main seat separate from the back for easy measurement and upholstery.

Here is the new leather i am using for this work.

The next i did was to take the measurement of each joining on the seat.

I then mark out the measurement on the new leather

Finally cut it out

I then remove the side pattern, place it on the new leather and then trace it out to have the new patterns

After that, i then gum the pattern to a roof material to make the work smooth

I then use a sewing machine to join those pattern together carefully and make sure it set well.

After sewing it i then clip the new seat cover to the frame.

Back

Main seat

Both the back and the main seat

I finally tight them both.

Hope this is beautiful and please don't for to comment under it make me feel special..

Special thanks to;
