Hello everyone

How are you all doing, I hope you all are doing good. Today is the last Wednesday of the month November 2022 and I so happy to see to with good health.
I always feel so much happy to share a post here in this amazing community and this is one of my best community on hive because since I join this community I have learn alot from this community.

Today I am sharing with you all a sewing and reupholster of a two front spider car seat brought to me by my customer friend. He call me last week telling me that my contact was give to him by is friend I work on a spider seat for and the work look neat and beautiful and he want me to also work on is own too.
He gotten the car new and he said before showing it to is friend and family he want to make the car interior look neat like new because the car is second hand.
So I accept to work for him and I only charge him 45HBD since is only the two front seat, I only consider him because the guy that directed him to me, I use 35 HBD to complete the work and gain 10HBD.

Here is the finished sew seat

This took me only a day to complete the work ie on Tuesday and I hope the outcome look beautiful and when he saw it he was very much happy and he bought me beer for the work well done.

Here was the seat before

Looking at the old seat you can seat the leather has expired and it to be replaced.

Here is the new leather I am going to used

Looking at this new leather it matches with the color of the old seat.

I will love to show some process I took to make the seat come out this neat with some simple steps using photos to explain for simple understanding.

Firstly I loose the seat separate for easy measurement and upholstery by loosing the side rubbers and then look the man seat from the back

After loosing the seat , I then use a sewing tape to take both the vertical and horizontal length of each joining on the seat

After taking the measurement I then transfer the measurement to my new leather, using long range to draw the lines together

After drawing the line I then use scissors to cut out the new leather following the line I draw

After that I then shape the new leather exactly has it is in the old seat by placing the new leather on top of the old leather and then draw the shape.
After forming the shape I the gum it to a roof material to make it stronger and think

Then I finally cut it out for sewing process.

I then use a sewing machine to join those pattern together ask it is in the old seat to form a new seat cover

After sewing it, I then cover the seat with the new sew seat cover, by clipping the center and the side to the frame of the seat

I finally cover them both

After I cover it I then tight it back has before

Since the seat is two I do same to the other one remaining and here is the finally work

How do you see this seat, hope this is beautiful. His Christmas car seat is ready to use.
Thanks so much for stopping by I love you

Hello Moses. Congratulations on your good work that, in addition to giving you money, gave you a beer as a gift ❣️.

You know, since I see your works I pay more attention to car upholstery :p, but I don't see so much leather around here. More of a kind of non-waterproof fabric, like soft. I don't know if I explain myself. Do you only make leather upholstery or do you sometimes work with a different fabric?

Thanks so much for stopping by I really appreciate.
Here I only work on leather and cloth. I have not work with the non waterproof before because is not being use here

I like how you’ve always put efforts to make a nice outcome .
More grace to you

Thanks so much brother
