Hello Hive.

Beautiful new week to all my sisters and seamstress here. Am happy to be a part of this community and witness it tremendous growth by the amazing talents of all our crocheters and needle workers here.

Your dedication and collective efforts have made this community what we have today and going through your different contents, it delights my soul to see such beautiful craft and talents on display.

I have witness creative color combination of yarns into various animals, insects and flowers.
What about colorful fabrics that turned into fashionable dresses and outfits sewn with love for our dear ones.

Today I appreciate and celebrate you all and am happy to have made friends among all of you.

For today I didn't do much of a work.
I felt I should make a matching short for my camisole, something I designed to help me survive this hot weather.

The velvet fabric felt soft and comfortable, meanwhile I am yet to discover the market for soft material used to make camisole so I used the velvet instead.

Having a very little quantity of the pattern fabric left, I taped the end of the short with it and these looked beautiful together.

Am thinking of making more designs soon as I would be needing not just one pair of these but some few more that I can interchange once anyone get dirty and am unable to clean it up immediately.

You are so good in fitting, the trouseres fit you like a glove. But I tihnk another pair in a darker color is really a good idea, because if you are only little bit like me, white trousers will get dirty very fast 😆

Exactly, others will be in darker colors, to think that the white has gone into laundry already, had to wear it everyday because its comfortable, I will have to speed up with making the other.

Weather is better, we had a first shower of rain and it feels cooler now.

But for electricity we are not expecting it anytime soon, maybe not even in this year, I was told that there is a damage and often times government ignore repair works of such.

Am planning on saving up to move out of this location before the end of the year. The power supply is better in other areas compare to where I live currently...

It is the softness of velvet that is making me consider working with velvet yarn. It looks very comfortable on you. I love the idea of adding shorts to the camisole, they go well together.

Hello @monica-ene. I also don't like to do much during the heat of the summer. I usually wear very loose fitting clothing so that the breeze can blow around and help to cool me down. I also sometimes just walk around with a small wet towel on my shoulders. It really helps.
