A close view
The resting place
Have you seen this brown caterpillar with black spots and hairs before? Do they adapt to changes in climate/weather or is this their only real color?
I found this one in my farm while spraying chemicals to kill grasses. There were many insects there but this one seems special to me and it caught my attention.
While I was younger, I used to get confused among caterpillar, centipede and millipede. I just never knew then, so I used to refer all of them as millipede especially the second one. That could probably be because I often come across the last in my environment more than others.
Anyway, back the crust of the matter. I had a bit challenge getting this dude steady for good shots. Dude was hovering around finding the best spot to relax. Probably a camouflage place to rest and hide. I'm pretty sure he had been fed up now about to take a nap.
Well, I am a patient dude so I was following it up. I changed my positions as well just to get good shots with my smartphone.
Finally, the insect settles at a spot. I took a great deal of shots. Some were good while so were blurred.
