Here is my new digital art.
My major purpose was to study the contrast in a portrait.
I observed the relationship between light and shadow.
Here, you can see the cast shadow, core shadow, reflected light, high light as well as the mid tones in one piece. However, the one that surpassed them all is the core shadow.
I ended up giving her pink lips. This made it look different from the previous step.
This sketch was done with AutoDesk sketchbook application and aided with an S-pen. I found my reference photo here. Below are my steps:
