We must always find ways to challenge our thoughts and change our ways of doing things if we really wanna get better in what we do....
We must be willing to learn, unlearn and relearn in order to do it right.
Same repeated wrongs will never give you right...
It applies to everything we find ourselves doing in life including art.
I had wanted to make a portrait drawing of a lady with head up but a thought came up and said, what if I turn her to a caricature?
I gave her a small long neck with a bogus cloth that seems to be big when compared to her neck.
The introduction of her big earring, added a new dimension to it.
From my outline sketch, you could see 4 circles were first drawn which enabled me to get the head, neck and shirt. Also, At this stage the neck was bigger and there was no earring. Things went another way in the second stage.
Things went another way in the second stage. Where the real figure came into being as the second thought came up.
The shading process commenced here. I used scribbles for this.

Never tried that process before but I love how everything turned out.
