How are we all doing today happy weekend , I hope we are enjoying our weekend .
I thank God I’m I live today I woke up this morning not really too strong my body was so heavy I decided to take a walk then after that I took my bath and I’m a bit strong now .
Thinking on what to do , i feel like sewing but I can’t sew on my machine I decided to use hand needle 🪡 to make baby head band and is been a while I use hand needle to sew and it came out beautiful after sewing it even though it a bit slow.
Sewing with hand needle always took a lot of time than using machine but I feel comfortable using it this morning and it remind me when I was learning how to sew 🧵 then , my master will not allow me to use machine I will keep using hand needle and it will peers my hand ✋ on different occasions but it was really helpful because it make me serious with my training then .
Cutting and sewing step
The process is very simple I folded the piece of fabric into two then I measure 8” and another 20” long enough to go round the the head of adult and child I didn’t add elastic it can only be tie at the back and it came out beautiful 😻.
Sewing step
I made used of my needle 🪡 and 🧵 thread and it came out neat and beautiful 🤩.
Final look
I hope this tutorial is helpful let try to use our hand needle and thread to sew once in a while as fashion designers to remember our old time😜😀😀.
