Good morning to all my beautiful and creative friends on hive how was our night rest and how was our weekend I hope we spent it well,I pray that this week is blessed for me and you in Jesus name amen.
Your creative girl 🥰 is here today I want to share with you all how I made this beautiful Side V neck line and A shape sket part for my beautiful mum she wore it on my wedding day and she look good with it.
Material used
4 yards of lace
2 trouser length of satin
Zip.
Breast pads
Thread for sewing
Cutting and sewing step
I firstly cut on satin so has not to make mistake on the main fabrics I measure the half length to be 16" then the burst measurement is 11" folded with sewing allowance after that I measure the center 4" and 2" out to get the breast cut and the under burst measurement is 13" after that I place the front piece on the satin to get the back and the back is in form of keyhole neck line .
After cutting the half length I cut out the sket part by cutting the front sket then I place it on each other to cut out the back sket with zip allowance.
After that I cut out the sleeve then I place each of the satin on the lace fabric to trace each piece out.
Sewing step
Sleeve cut.
I joined each bodices together and iron at every stage of sewing and it came out neat and beautiful .
Finishing
My mummy wore her dress and she look beautiful and gorgeous, she is the one standing beside the bride, I couldn't take her personal pictures sorry for that .
