Woodpecker is the most colorful and beautiful bird and is hardly seen as it climbs up and down the tree quickly. Around 240 species of Woodpeckers exist in the world and roughly around 20 species are threatened to extinct. In Pakistan more than 12 species of woodpeckers exist and following are some of the species that I captured during my birding in Margalla Hills, Islamabad. Hope you like it.
