Fan Art: The Forest Healer Celebrates Her Birthday! A different Fan Art.

Hey, Hey, here's the @lacochinaensalsa!

A couple of days ago I was without internet connection due to fiber problems in the area. I took the opportunity to organize some things at home and at the same time, draw a Fan Art of the Forest Healer.

I recently got my Badge for having completed 2 years in Hive, I really love this Blog space and all the freedom of participation I have to express what I like. Based on this, I was inspired to make this Fan Art, representing the Healer of the Forest in a scene from "HBD". I imagined her very happy, content with a small cake and the shining light of a candle. One of the things I like is imagining characters in other versions of life, as if it were a movie.

I wanted to create a happy scene, we are usually happy on our birthdays. I imagined the Forest Healer with a low-cut, textured dress, as well as some accessories and a chocolate cake with some strawberries. For the background, I have placed stars and little details, all in a super cute scene.

Let's quickly see Drawing process:

For the illustration I used my tablet, pencil and Medibang Paint as drawing program. I made a quick sketch to help me place the character on the canvas, then I started a stronger outlining stage. In some areas, I made thickness variations to accentuate some lines. I made the sketch in several different layers, to make the cleaning stage easier.

Coloring and light details

For the color I used the color palette similar to the original Forest Healer. To add quick colors, I used the paint bucket tool. After giving each base color, I moved on to using the Clipping layers, to add shadow details. I also added some textures, on the clothes and hat. The brushes I used are: normal pencil, rough, airbrush, blur, dryness...
