Happy blessed Monday my dear NeedleWorkMonday colleagues, it's a nice pleasure to meet again on our long awaited Needlework Monday. Mondays have another sense and another meaning since I belong to the community, it is not always easy to be on time to publish and to read all the posts and contemplate all the projects, but I always do my best to clear my schedule on Monday to be able to participate in this beautiful creative fair.
For today's post I decided to share with you my weekend project. These are some cute crocheted daisy flowers that I am making to use as appliques for other projects. I've only made three flowers, but the idea is to make many in different colors. The best thing about this flower pattern is that it takes very little material, they can even be made with leftover yarn from previous projects.
In this opportunity I share the pattern with you because I am sure that many of you will be encouraged to knit it because it is super easy and simple to make. For the center of the flower I used a small wooden hoop to give it more relief, but if you don't have wooden or plastic hoops you can still weave it into a chain hoop.
The idea is to make the center in one color and the petals in a different color. Many combinations can be made since this flower looks good in any color. The size of the flower and the length of the petals will depend on the size of the hoop you use or the amount of chains you weave for the center.
I was pleasantly surprised by this pattern because I didn't expect to like the final result so much, being such a simple pattern to make. I hope you will try it and show us your little flowers. For now I say goodbye wishing you an excellent and blessed week. Thanks for reading, greetings and blessings.
