Certain professions are dominated by males or females. I know that many years ago, I was skeptical of women doctors and male nurses. Those professions were typically dominated by the men as doctors and women as nurses or caregivers. It's truly a mindset on how we view people. I share a ZAPFIC Monday challenge for this week's prompt "introduce".
My story is below:
Villagers stood in line waiting for the new doctor.
"Let me introduce you to our new physician," said retired doctor.
Laughter and derision broke out as a young lady in white emerged from the tent.
Men left.
Women with kids remained for aid.
