This is a curated collection of short stories encompasses a fifteen-chapter series that is set in the medieval period in the fictional kingdom of Gonjolard. The ruler of the country King Hartfelt and his his son, Prince Gawdawfel. Both deemed not qualified by their subjects to rule under a fiefdom system where lords are given power over the peasants.
Under this system of government, greed and evil pervades the country at the expense of the poor village farmers. Taxes are out of control, and justice is not applied to all.
These conditions set the stage for unrest. Even lowly people can rise up in an unfair system.
Read below to uncover how the tables are turned as the villagers and townspeople take matters into their own hands for the sake of more just Kingdom.
