What's up Weed Nerds? Hope everyone is having a good week. No complaints here, except I have to say it is a bit slow here on Weedcash, but hey it is what it is. As the saying goes, you can lead the horse to the water, but can not force it to drink. So for those who may of never seen the new grow challenge we are hosting on Weedcash, visit this post here. It is pretty straight forward. Grow a plant. Either from seed, clone, it don't matter. There are tiers for each pot size, so everyone can enter. If you are unable to get any seed, start posting to earn Hive, and @bifbeans will have you covered.

Lighting
Right now I have them on a 20/4 light cycle, under a Mars TS1000. As they grow, I will either just use my Bar Style LED, or just add a 240 Watt Quantum Board. Since I am downsizing I may sale the bigger LED. I recently came across a 400 Watt HPS, and I plan to use that when I switch to flower.
Grow Medium
I have yet to add any top dressing to the soil, or do any foliar treatments. I have to say I really love this soil! When I saw that it had Biochar, I had to pick it up. It was inexpensive as well, even cheaper then Fox Farm, which is great, but I no longer use.
So after a few short days, I am seeing an explosion of growth! If you recall last post, I had already topped the clones, and then had to Super Crop a couple plants, to get them shorter, and bushier. The way I love them, and my woman as well ;)
This plant is starting to grow above the rest of the canopy, so I decided to pull some braches down with the Super Croppers @futuremind gave me. Which you did a perfect job on dude! Thank you again.
It is a very easy, and very effective process. The shoot that is circled will start growing towards the light, and become a cola. You could do this over, and over, and end up with a plant as large as you want. As long as it gets the proper amount of light, and have room for the roots, it will grow, and grow. This is why plant count is absurd. I can have 100 plants, and get in trouble. But I can have 1 plant that would equal 100 plants, and be fine. Go figure.
You can get a good idea but looking above. Just like that, this plant has grown 2x in diameter! Pretty cool right? I could of defoliated a little, but I'll do that later, since I did this right before I went to work this morning.
The Dose Sherbet also had some braches running away from the canopy, but I opted out using the clips, and just pinched some of the tops.
Doing this not only helps train the plant on how you want it to grow, it also strengthens the stalk. Right where you pinch it, more nutrients are stored, and in theory, makes a more potent flower. Sometimes stress is good!
So there are a few things on my to do list. One is adding the extra LED. Then doing a Silica foliar treatment. Then perhaps on Sunday I will add a top dressing of high Nitrogen fertilizer. After I VEG these out for a little longer, I will do some 'lollipoppin', and light defoliation. I am so excited for all of these strains, my tent already stanks!
