HELLO HIVE
The stage where my groundnut begins to produce seeds is the most delicate part of farming groundnut and I am already feeling the heat of that period already.
Even after Making adequate plans to make sure the environment is very good and there are no issues with pest especially rodents, it seems to have even gotten worst and rodents are gradually turning areas around the farm into their safe heaven.
Traps that I set around the farm to cub this seems to be ineffective and the rodents around that area are making a joke of every system I have put in place to curb them.
If only they had waited for just few weeks before now I would have harvested the groundnut already, what makes it worst is that am the only farmer cultivating groundnut around this place and that has made the rodents around to place all their focus on my farm, other farmers around are only cultivating cassava, maize, yam and guinea corn.
This exposed my farm to the damage from this rodents but other than that every other thing on this farms is going smoothly and i might be harvesting my groundnut in the next two to three weeks.
