Well, the ingredients you have to prepare to make Gegicak are certainly very simple and you can buy all the ingredients for this recipe at the nearest supermarket or market in your city. The first ingredients you have to prepare are glutinous rice flour, coconut, brown sugar, sugar, salt, pandan paste and pandan leaves. after you have prepared all the ingredients, now let's start the first step.
The first step, what you have to do first is prepare a steamer and preheat it for a few minutes. After the steamer is hot, put enough grated coconut into the bowl and also put it in the steamer. Steam for about 20 minutes so that the grated coconut doesn't go stale.
the second step, after you have grated the steamed coconut so it doesn't go stale, the next thing you have to prepare is a blender and cut into 7 pieces of pandan leaves and put 150ml of water into the blender. then, blend pandan leaves until smooth.
the third step, after you have finished blending the pandan leaves until smooth, then prepare a place and put 200 grams of glutinous rice flour, half a teaspoon of salt and add enough pandan water that you have blended. then, knead until smooth and well mixed by hand.
well, as a result you can see the photo, the dough is really very smooth and can also be shaped according to your wishes. if you think the dough is not green, you can use enough pandan paste and knead again until the color of the dough is green.

the fifth step, after all the dough has been shaped until the dough is complete, then all you have to do is prepare a pan and put enough water into the pan. After that, put all the dough into the pan and boil the dough. how to know the dough is cooked or not, you can see when the dough has floated and at that time you can lift the dough.
the sixth step, after all the dough has been boiled to completion, then prepare enough brown sugar and then finely chop the brown sugar until it's finished like the photo above.
the last step, after you have finely chopped the brown sugar to completion, then all you have to do is prepare a pan and put 50 ml of mineral water, all the brown sugar that you have finely chopped, half a teaspoon of salt and also a piece of pandan leaf. after that, cook the brown sugar until the brown sugar dissolves and also boils over medium heat.
