How are you today ? I hope and pray, we are all always given health and also happiness in living this life. We all know, the threat of crises such as food crises, financial crises and also economic crises will hit us. We must go through these crises with our heads held high and seek solutions.
One way that we can do to deal with the food crisis and economic crisis is to apply the homesteading lifestyle in our lives. Homestead lifestyle is one of the lifestyles that is widely applied by individuals or communities. In terms of terminology, the homestead lifestyle is a collection of several people or family groups that make up one community and complement one another.
From the various examples that I can see. 5-6 families living in one area make livestock and modern agriculture to fulfill their living and food needs without having to depend on other people. Usually, this lifestyle is often carried out by city people who decide to move back to the village. Homestead lifestyle brings various farming and animal husbandry technologies to make better results.

Can we do something like that? Perhaps, adopting the homestead lifestyle thoroughly will be difficult. However, we can still do several ways to produce food products for our consumption by utilizing the remaining space in our homes. One way we can do this is by using a hydroponic farming system.
Since deciding to garden vegetables with a hydroponic system in my house. I also receive a lot of orders and work to make hydroponic installations for people. Besides, sometimes. Several students and students also came to practice and learn about hydroponics.
Three days ago, I made a simple hydroponic installation ordered by one of my guests. He wants to use the rooftop on the third floor of his house to make a hydroponic garden. He wanted to try it first, as well as to learn about hydroponics. The plan, he wants to make a vegetable garden on the roof of his house.
Making a hydroponic installation like this is not too difficult. We need some 2.5 inch pipe, ¾ inch PVC pipe and 11 mm PE hose. I also taught how to make this hydroponic installation to three students who were doing internships in my hydroonics garden. I teach and give tricks on how to make this installation and hopefully these students can apply it in life or for their school lessons.
After making this hydroponic installation is complete. I immediately delivered to the customer this hydroponic installation. Our house is not too far away, and because the hydroponic model is not too big and it can be delivered by my car without having to use a pickup truck.
The installation location is above the rooftop, when I was installing and managing this hydroponic installation. I was accompanied by two very cute dogs. It's like these two dogs want to know what I'm doing on this roof.
Rooftop locations like this are indeed very suitable for hydroponic gardens, especially when we don't have adequate land. On the rooftop we will get enough sunlight and also avoid the risk of pests coming into our garden.
The hydroponic pipe installation that I made and worked on is very minimalist. For a height of only 100 cm and a width of about 120 cm. I made a series of roofs with transparent zinc in this PVC installation. The use of this roof serves to minimize rain and heat.
