So week 21st of the year has concluded and whilst I was to update my progress yesterday, it didn't happen. The days are pretty busy with the Zealy quests taking much of my time but they are a good set of challenges to take so I have nothing against it. Besides learning through them, being able to successfully finish it will be fantastic.
Anyway, here's how my progress had been in the last 7 days with regards to my two goals, re:
Leo Power
Week 20 (last update): 14246 LP
Week 21 (this report): 19246 LP
I did my biggest Leo Power Up the other day, staking in a single transaction 5000 LEO which in turn earned me 3k experience points (XP) in the Leo Finance adoption campaign challenge on Zealy. To achieve that, I had to keep swapping HIVE with whatever HBD I had on this alt plus those on my main account and then using them to purchase LEO. I also withdrew my Hive Backed Dollars Savings amounting to 193 HBD which I had been saving following the 365-Penny A Day strategy. So yes, I'm now back to square one on that regard.
I also undelegated the 5196 Leo Power from my main account and then initiated a power down two days ago. The LEO will of course get powered up on this alt as they become available. I figured it will be good to keep all the Leo Power here. That is in preparation for the distribution of the Leo Ads revenues in Leo Finance taking into account the staked LEO that an account has.
Hive Power
- Week 20: 1311 HP
- Week 21: 1373 HP
62 HIVE has been added during the week which represents a 4.7% growth from the previous update. It's growing slowly and nicely. At this rate, I may be able to reach my year-end goal of 1500 HP goal in the next 2-3 weeks. But that doesn't mean I will stop adding to it though.
The Hive Power Up Day is coming in 4 days and since I made it my intention to participate in every HPUD this year, I also need to accumulate HIVE for that day.
The thing is that powering up is quite addicting and there's this insatiable need to keep stacking up and building both the Leo and Hive Power. It's for the future and whilst the prices of HIVE and LEO are most affordable, staking continues.
