Good morning everyone, especially to all members here in @buildit hive community. This morning, let me share to you how to make a simple toy robot made of old and recycled cardboard.
As we all know, old materials can ne recycled and use for other porpuses just like decor inside the house.
Materials
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Cardboard
- Scatchtape
- Colored paper (any color)
- Ruler
- Marker pen
A simple way to do:
First, draw a line on the cardboard using pencil and a ruler. Make sure the line will straight and in equal size.
Cut the cardboard according to the lines that drawn on it. This is are my cardboard that is already cutted. And ready to fold and form into robot.
First, we fold the the robots legs, joint together and taped it.
And it goes just like this. It depends on us how long would be the feet and the arms of the robot. If the feet and the arms are slightly long then cut it.
Cut a big cardboard for the body and fold it according to the line pattern given to form a box. This folded box is used as the robots body.
Connect all the box edges and taped together to make it strong and formed.
Attached all the robots parts, the legs, arms and lastly the head. Taped together to make it strong.
Draw the eyes, nose and mouth and make it lively by draw a smiling face on it.
For welcome notes, get a colored paper and cut it depends of its sizes and styles. Write any greetings depends of you like to write and put it in the robots head.
