July is crunch time for me. We are packing up the Illinois temporary home and will, God willing, make it back to North Carolina at month's end. I am excited despite the extra work of packing.
With all my sewing machines packed, I have kept out a couple of projects.
The color patterns on my argyle socks are done except for the embroidered diagonal lines, which I will do after I get the feet done.
This project is in a small bag I can keep with me. I also have a super simple "sanity knitting" project for those moments when I will need the mindless comfort of repetitive motion. It is a lace shawl in featherweight alpaca on small needles. It will take forever, which ensures I won't run out of knitting before all my boxes are unpacked in the new house.
