Hello, friends especially DIY ers!
Recently I found some unused materials at home, toilet tissue rolls and then I got an idea why dont I make it to something cute, with other things I have at home. And then, last night I made them up into a cute puppy marionette puppet.
Project Time: approximately 1,5 hour
Difficulty: Easy
Materials & Things needed:
Toilet tissue rolls (2)
Pencil
Ruler
Scissors
Yellow and blue double sided origami
Glue stick
White yarn
Cutter pen
Black buttons (4)
Multi purpose adhesive glue
Black marker
White paper
Popsickle ice stick (2)
How to make it:
1ST
I needed to wrap up the toilet tissue paper. First, I measured it then marked the yellow origami, made the line and cut it. Then I pasted it on the roll with the glue stick.
2ND
After that, I made four holes there like below. Then I cut the yarn I had into two pieces of 20 cm length of the yarn.
3RD
Next, I put the yarn through the holes, a yarn connect two nearest holes, just like below. Then I put the button on each of the yarn, knotted the bottom.
4TH
I then trimmed the rest of the yarn. Then I copied the button to the blue origami, then cut some circles and pasted them unto the tissue roll that already wrapped with the yellow origami.
5TH
Made two holes on the yellow tissue roll like below.
6TH
Then I wrapped another tissue roll I had also with the yellow origami, this would be the head part.
7TH
I continued to cut some part from the yellow roll I just made, then made two holes I also joined it with the first roll. After that I drew two eyes on the white paper, cut them off.
8TH
Pasted the two blue circles and also eyes on the head part. Also I cut the nose from the same blue origami and pasted it too. I then cut the rest of the tissue roll to made the ears.
9TH
Cut the roll again for the tail. After I put the yarn through the back hole, I pasted the tail. For the last part I prepared the handle, I used the popsickle ice sticks for this part.
The Result
Voila, here is my very first puppy marionette puppet, made up from the toilet tissue paper rolls. Woof woof.. I could hang it anywhere I want now. Isn't it cute?
