Greetings friends, we continue learning and improving our origami technique, being something innovative, which will make us think and take creativity to the next level. I have several weeks sharing different paper figures here in the community, which has allowed me to do things faster, learn different doubles and try to go looking for ideas of new figures that allow us to make more effort, that is, a little more complex, taking a sheet of paper to its minimum expression. This time we are going to make a very beautiful bird, striking and I was surprised to make it in paper, being this time a paper swan, where origami is characterized by many doubles and folds, but a magnificent result is achieved. In addition, this paper swan will serve you for many things and you can create a large family of swans at home. Do not miss this step by step.

Saludos amigos, seguimos aprendiendo y mejorando nuestra técnica del origami, siendo algo innovador, que nos hará pensar y llevar la creatividad al siguiente nivel. Tengo varias semanas compartiendo distintas figuras de papel por aquí en la comunidad, la cual esto me ha permitido hacer las cosas con más rapidez, aprender distinto dobles y tratar de ir buscando ideas de figuras nuevas que permitan esforzarse más, es decir, un poco más complejas, llevando una hoja de papel a su mínima expresión. Esta vez vamos a realizar una ave muy bonita, llamativa y me sorprendió hacerla en papel, siendo en esta oportunidad un cisne de papel, donde es origami que se caracteriza por muchos dobles y pliegues, pero se logra un resultado magnífico. Además, este cisne de papel te servirá para muchas cosas y podrás crear una gran familia de cisnes en casa. No te pierdas este paso a paso.

To make our origami, the first thing we have to do is to take a square sheet of 20 * 20 cm, so we can make our origami and immediately we will start folding diagonally, so we can mark that line very well and from there is that we will begin to make our paper swan.

Para hacer nuestro origami, lo primero que tenemos que hacer es tomar una hoja cuadrada de 20 *20 cm, para así poder hacer muestro origami y de inmediato vamos a comenzar doblando por la diagonal, para así poder marcar esa línea muy bien y a partir de allí es que vamos a comenzar a realizar nuestro cisne de papel.

We are going to open the sheet, to bring two parts of the square towards the center, as shown in the photo, which we have to flatten very well and it will look like a kind of a big cone. Once that is ready, we are going to turn our leaf over and the triangle that came out of the previous step we are going to fold it along the entire line of the interception of the fold. We bring the tip upwards again, very carefully, without damaging and without letting go of our leaf.

Vamos a abrir la hoja, para llevar dos partes del cuadrado hacia el centro, como se nota en la foto, la cual tenemos que aplastar muy bien y nos quedará como es especie de un gran cono. Una vez listo eso, vamos a voltear nuestra hoja y el triángulo que salió del paso anterior lo vamos a doblar por toda la línea de la intercepción del doblez. Allí mismo volvemos a llevar la punta hacia arriba con mucho cuidado, sin dañar y sin soltar nuestra hoja.

Then we are going to fold the leaf in half and you can see that a triangle came out, which we are going to move down a little bit, like a finger approximately, where it will be part of that big swan. Next, we are going to bring the ends of the leaf upwards with a small fold and we are going to repeat the same thing on both sides of the leaf, very carefully.

Luego vamos a doblar la hoja por la mitad y se puede apreciar que salió un triángulo, el cual vamos a moverlo un poco hacia abajo, como un dedo aproximadamente, donde será parte de ese gran cisne. Seguidamente, vamos a llevar los extremos de la hoja hacia arriba con un pequeño doble y eso mismo lo vamos a repetir en ambas caras de la hoja, con mucho cuidado.

We take our sheet and now we are going to fold it in half, where you have to join the two ends and thus mark a very strong line on the sheet, we open and now we will make another fold upwards, the idea of these two folds is to achieve two lines, and then make a small fold upwards as shown in the photos.

Tomamos nuestra hoja y ahora vamos a doblar por la mitad, donde se tiene que unir las dos puntas y de esa manera marcar una línea muy fuerte en la hoja, abrimos y ahora vamos a realizar otro dobles hacia arriba, la idea de esos dos dobleces es lograr conseguir dos líneas, para luego hacer un pequeño pliegue hacia arriba como se nota en las fotos.

Little by little our swan is taking shape and the previous passes are of great importance to do them very well so that it looks great. Now we are going to take the longest side of the sheet and fold again the part that was created with the previous fold. We mark and make an inward fold, with the idea of being able to create the neck part of the swan. Once that is ready, we are going to make a small fold at the tip with the idea of taking out the beak of this origami. It is not finished yet and we still have to make a last fold in the middle of the neck, folding upwards and to make a turn inwards and with that the neck will be completely ready.

Poco a poco nuestro cisne está tomando forma y los pases anteriores son de gran importancia hacerlos muy bien para que quede de maravilla. Ahora vamos a tomar el lado más largo de la hoja y volvemos a doblar por la parte que se creó con el doblez anterior. Marcamos y hacemos un pliegue hacia adentro, con la idea de poder crear la parte del cuello del cisne. Una vez listo eso, vamos a realizar un pequeño doblez en la punta con la idea de sacar el pico de este origami. Todavía no termina y nos queda hacer un último doble en la mitad del cuello, doblando hacia arriba y para hacer un giro hacia adentro y con eso el cuello estará totalmente listo.

Now we go to the back of the swan, to remove some feathers and that way this swan looks more striking, where we will take one of the leaves that is not free and we will fold it down, we will repeat this on both sides, so that this paper swan is more beautiful. With this last step our paper figure will be ready, which is a work of art, and this swan is ready to start flying.

Ahora nos vamos para la parte de atrás del cisne, para así sacar lagunas plumas y de esa manera se ve más llamativo este cisne, donde vamos a tomar una de las hojas que no queda libre y vamos a doblarla hacia abajo, esto lo vamos a repetir en ambas caras, para que a queda más bonita este cisne de papel. Con este último paso estará lista nuestra figura de papel, la cual es una obra de arte, y este cisne está listo para comenzar a volar.
