Iconic personality of the underground electronic British vibes. London-based DJ and producer Jimmy Asquith, with more than 13 years in the game and almost 10 years experience of running Lobster Theremin together with the huge list of sub-labels and side projects. As a founder of the highly influential and globally respected label, instead of a long and difficult road full of challenges, he smashed it and jumped out from the unknown territories straight to the epicenter of the global dance music scene, doing it with literally the first release in 2013. Since then, he has continuously shaped its foundations. Additionally, he works full-time as head of a record shop and mastermind of an extensive sub-label network, promoting wide range of genres and artists such as DJ Seinfeld, NTHNG, Imre Kiss, Ozel AB, Palms Trax, Privacy, Route 8 and Ross From Friends.

As a DJ, he has been active on the scene since, at least, 2010 and has so far played on the every continent. Behind the decks Jimmy Asquith is an explosive combination of retro-techno-futurism, donks, rare stuff, future house, rave music and tunes beyond any rational classifications. This wild eclectic style claimed loads of attention and support from titans of the game including Fjaak, SHERELLE, Peggy Gou, Nina Kraviz, Marcel Dettmann, Jaguar, Haai, Emerald, Hessle Audio, Mama Snake, Dense & Pika, Tim Reaper and Tijana T. As a producer, Asquith has started his journey in the similar time as a DJ, already more than 12 years ago, making his first steps in the world of experimental music, drones and ambient. His first solo album was experimental LP cassette released in 2015 under Tom Hang moniker. Prior to his solo debut, in 2014 and 2015, together with Manse and Palms Trax, they published self released white labels as Chicago Flotation Device. After that Asquith focused on his individual activity, expressing through mind-blowing acids, raving techno and garage house bangers. With a long list of creative self-released material, he established himself as one of the foremost producers to watch with an ever-growing collection of diversified "prime-time-only tunes".
11.06.2022 he is coming to Bristol, UK for the another huge BREAK THE NIGHT PARTY.
