Un saludo abrazador para todos mis queridos amigos amantes del dibujo, la pintura y el arte en general. Hoy les traigo un dibujo hermoso que he realizado tomando un poquito de aquí y de allá, se trata de un tierno colibrí que disfruta del néctar de las flores.
Para el que no conoce estas aves les puedo decir que son muy comunes en mi país, pero todos presentan una gran variedad de colores en su cuerpo.
A hugging greeting to all my dear friends who love drawing, painting and art in general. Today I bring you a beautiful drawing that I have made taking a little bit from here and there, it is a tender hummingbird enjoying the nectar of the flowers.
For those who do not know these birds I can tell you that they are very common in my country, but they all have a variety of colors in their body.
Anécdota
Recuerdo que en mi casa entraba una ave a la que mi madre le decía chinguita o tuminico, este pajarito siempre entraba revoloteando por la ventana hacia la habitación de mi hermano donde tenía un nido muy bonito, tenía forma de bolsa alargada hecha de pura paja; otras veces entraba por la cocina y daba vueltas por toda la casa, pues cada vez que esto sucedía mi mamá decía _ Va a llegar visita, no sé qué tenía que ver una cosa con la otra, pero aquello en verdad sucedía.
Yo no sé si todavía suceda la visita de aquel tuminico o colibrí pero me encanta recordar todas esas cosas que alegraban mi corazón de niña y me ponía a pensar quien podría ser, que viene a visitarnos.
I remember that in my house there was a bird that my mother called chinguita or tuminico, this bird always came fluttering through the window into my brother's room where he had a very nice nest, it was shaped like an elongated bag made of pure straw; other times he entered through the kitchen and circled around the house, because every time this happened my mother said _ He will come visit, I do not know what one thing had to do with the other, but that really happened.
I don't know if the visit of that tuminico or hummingbird still happens, but I love to remember all those things that made my heart happy as a child and I started to think about who it could be, who comes to visit us.
Cuando vi este dibujo dije ¡Lo quiero intentar! Paso a paso fue saliendo el dibujo, creo que me quedó muy inflada la barriga, parece que estuviera embarazada.
When I saw this drawing I said I want to try it! Step by step the drawing came out, I think my belly was very inflated, it looks like I'm pregnant.
Luego busqué una hermosa flor que embelleciera aun más el dibujo y escogí estos hermosos lirios del campo. A medida que el dibujo iba avanzando me imaginaba a estas aves, he escuchado muchas cosas bonitas y curiosas de ellos. Son las únicas aves que vuelan en retroceso y es capaz de agitar sus alas hasta 80 veces por segundo. Cuando a mí me contaron esto no lo podía creer y lo busque en internet, pensé que era por minuto pero no, son de 70 a 80 veces por segundo.
Then I looked for a beautiful flower to embellish the drawing even more and I chose these beautiful lilies of the field. As the drawing progressed I imagined these birds, I have heard many beautiful and curious things about them. They are the only birds that fly backwards and are able to flap their wings up to 80 times per second. When I was told this I couldn't believe it and I looked it up on the internet, I thought it was per minute but no, it is 70 to 80 times per second.
Los colores de los colibrís son increíbles, son muy intensos y existe una diversa gama de colores. El pico también varía mucho y el canto es agudo. La verdad me divertí mucho realizando este dibujo y cuando pienso en que me motivo a escoger este dibujo entre tantas cosas bellas que consigo para hacer creo que el principal es que tal vez mi espíritu quisiera convertirse en ave y a toda prisa salir de estas cuatro paredes y llegar a donde está mi madre.
Pero con el favor de Dios este sueño se hará realidad y una chinguita o tuminico muy pronto volverá a cantar allá en mi casa; ya estamos preparando todo para que eso sea posible.
The colors of hummingbirds are incredible, they are very intense and there is a diverse range of colors. The beak also varies a lot and the song is sharp. The truth is that I had a lot of fun making this drawing and when I think about what motivated me to choose this drawing among so many beautiful things I get to do I think the main one is that maybe my spirit would like to become a bird and in a hurry leave these four walls and get to where my mother is.
But with God's favor this dream will come true and a chinguita or tuminico will soon sing again in my house; we are already preparing everything to make that possible.
