Incluso pueden aumentarle el tamaño y utilizarlo como un centro de mesa. Un proyecto ideal para obsequiar en estas navidades!! Lo he llamado “triple” porque cada arbolito se compone a su vez de tres piezas, las cuales se superponen y se cosen en el centro para unirlas entre sí.

Paso 1. Lo primero que hice fue marcar el diseño del arbolito en la entretela. El uso de la entretela es opcional, le aporta más firmeza a la tela. Este paso lo repetí tres veces por cada arbolito

Paso 2. Con ayuda de la plancha, fusioné la entretela al tejido. Luego pase costura recta por todo el contorno del diseño, dejando una abertura por su parte inferior para poder voltear la pieza hacia su lado derecho.

Paso 3. Lo siguiente que hice, fue superponer los tres arbolitos y los uní por el centro con una costura recta. Para lograr que esta costura central me quedara lo más recta posible, doblé a la mitad el primer arbolito y utilicé esa marca como línea guía de costura.

Paso 4. Luego de esto, procedí a rellenar ligeramente el arbolito. Te muestro en la foto como queda el arbolito con y sin relleno, son válidas las dos opciones, yo elegí rellenarlo porque me gusta más de ese modo. Recuerda cerrar la abertura de relleno con punto escondido.

Paso 5. La decoración es a gusto personal. Como sugerencia, pueden colocarle perlas, mostacillas, lentejuelas o cualquier otro aplique que tengan disponible, las telas especialmente navideñas no necesitan de estos adornos adicionales. Aunque yo ocupé una tela unicolor para mi arbolito, simplemente lo decoré colocándole una flor en la punta a manera de estrella.
Step 5. The decoration is to personal taste.
