With the much love I have for oil colours, I love how easily it is to blend, slow to dry and it's great texture it give to a painting especially when you do the thick over thin technique! Today's works are all made by Daberechi , a skillful and amazing artist, who's an undergraduate of UNN , studying Fine and Applied Arts.
She is a painter who works mainly with oils and acrylics on canvas.
The principal themes in her works comprises of the African afro hairstyle and feminine portraitures which embodies the beauty and history of the afro hairstyle. She explores this in her series of paintings which would be described as conceptual portraitures.
Her works are engaging as it leaves some questions to its viewers to answer.
