Greetings to y'all, my valued friends. How are you doing? It's good to be back here again with my entry for @zingtober day 17 contest theme: Journal.
Even without any research, I've always heard the word "Journal" and known what it means. The only thing I thought about the theme was how I would create something more presentable rather than just drawing a journal.
Thinking about it, lots of ideas popped up but my favorite of them all was to create an imaginary hands taking records of a daily activity.
I also envisioned the use of one of @holozing full characters to do the writing but at a second thought I concluded still on using just a hand, so all focus will be on the book which perfectly describes the theme.
The art piece was drawn with pen on paper, using a combined hatching technique. Below shows the process 👇
