Wow, this pie looks scrumptious and the recipe is simple, except for the crust part. Wish I can have a piece! 😄 Sweet pastries are a delight at Christmas.
I've never baked a buttermilk or cheese pie before. We have meat/chicken pie in my country but make them in small shapes.

You should give it a try, though it is super sweet. The cornmeal just makes the crust better. We have meat pies also where you can insert whatever meat and veggies you want as the filling.
